Life quality increases considerably due to aspects for an aquarium that were underrated until now
Psychological studies prove that fish have a stimulating and activating effect on humans. Health, joy of life and relaxed balance are enhanced. People simply feel better with an aquarium in the apartment. An aquarium also rates high according to the Feng Shui system. Among others, it represents an luck, stability, movement and wealth.
Aquariums have a unique exotic appearance, and the lively and playing fish will distract you from everyday stress.
However, until now the maintenance requirements of an aquarium often used to increase over time. A common mistake, especially made by aquarium beginners: They combine fish from different biotopes.
The specialists of the company sera from Heinsberg/Germany follow a new course. They have developed so-called Biotope Aquariums that represent the natural habitats of the fish.
Aquarium size, equipment, fish and plants optimally suit each other. The entire technical equipment is in balance, and therefore functions without any trouble. “This is the only way to adjust and maintain the water quality – the most important parameter in an aquarium – exactly according to the corresponding biotope”, explains managing director Josef Ravnak. The fish feel well and are at their best.
The suggestions for functioning aquatic worlds by the sera experts considerably differ in their optical appearance. Additionally, there are lucid instructions. The “Asia” biotope is inhabited, among others, by labyrinth fish. The “Central America” aquarium fascinates with its colorful inhabitants such as platies and swordtails. A special highlight: The “South America” biotope. The Amazon serves as a model – the fish from the river system with the largest water amount on Earth impress by their variety of shapes; many roots, rocks and abundantly growing plants belong into the aquarium.
Compared to other pets, fish are much easier to keep and require less care. Many fish surprise even experienced aquarists again and again with their distinct character features.
